We are somewhat pleased with what was presented this morning, but we feel it still falls a long way short. We will not accept the plan as it currently exists.

There is a general consensus across the council that we're willing to give up some of the gates, and the mayor seems to be buying into it.

It is the beginning of the redevelopment of northeast Dallas. I think these projects are the precursors of what you will see happen a lot more in that area.

If we're going to open up downtown, open it up. With two-way streets, there's flexibility of traffic patterns. It creates an environment in the center city for renewal of retail.

To cast aspersion over the whole company for something that happened in Canada ... seems a bit off the wall. I'm not concerned about doing business with ACS, but I'd be very watchful.
