We came out and had great energy. It was incredibly emotional for the seniors because they knew it was their last (home) game.

We started fouling their jump shooters and allowed some dribble penetration.

We really wanted to pack it in a play a little more zone. They do a good job of running the flex offense, but we made them ineffective.

This was a tough loss. We're looking for some credibility and the way to get it is to beat teams from Union County. But our kids will show up tomorrow and they'll keep working hard.

Middlesex is a good team and very athletic. They had a great game plan. Our jump shooters just weren't getting their shots.

It's a house money game. You go there and just play loose. My kids won't be scared.

Roselle Park did a great job of taking some of our shooters away with some real solid defense. Then with Travis getting hurt, that made it even tougher for us.

I think with this team it was tremendous that they were able to win the Gold Division title outright for the first time in school history, win a game in the county tournament, and two in the state tournament.

We had a couple of moments, but we didn't shoot the ball consistently well as we have this year.
