I've been getting it for so long. When I was a freshman in high school they said I wasn't good enough to play varsity, and I ended up starting. Then they said I would not be able to play Division I, and I keep proving people wrong. If anything, it just gives me motivation to go out and prove them wrong.

They would make big shots after we would play great defense for 34 seconds. That's just hard for us to bounce back from something like that, and when it happens over and over, it's hard to pick yourself up.

I worked extremely hard for this moment. So many people doubted me playing Division I basketball. People have told me I can't do that, I can't do this. And that's pushed me my whole life. To be a part of this is just amazing.

I think we were a little shocked at how active they were defensively. They came out firing on both ends and we were dead on both ends.

They have so much heart it seems. And it's a whole team effort. Every one of their guys can play defense. We couldn't find offense anywhere.
