It's always a lot of fun to come out and play a good game against a team I used to play for. I've still got a lot of friends on that team; I've still got some teammates that I played with on that team.

In those first two at-bats, I was just looking for a pitch to drive. I felt like I was in a zone, like the ball was in slow motion.

I take the same approach every time. Early in the count I'm hoping they throw me a mistake and that's what I feel like happened in the first couple of at-bats. It's really important when another team makes a mistake, you've really got to bury them. You have to go right after them and make those mistakes hurt. I think our team did a good job of that.

There's a little bit of a rivalry there.

It was a huge at-bat, because the game was pretty close. We had guys on first and second, so in my mind I was thinking gap-to-gap, trying to hit a double. The pitcher hung me a curve ball, so I got a little out in front but stayed through and hit it down the line. We got both runs in.

That's important, when the other team makes mistakes, you've got to bury them.
