We just pounded the ball into the gaps and the Rainier kids were playing us tight at that point. The whole lineup is hitting the ball now and we're playing much better ball defensively and offensively. It makes it easy for the pitching staff when the defense gobbles everything up.

The floodgates opened in the sixth. They made the errors and we kept pounding the ball harder and harder.

The pitching for our team was really exceptional.

We played everybody on the team. Even the kids who hadn't played all year got their first hits tonight.

It seems like we have been looking at different combinations of kids. We're still not settled. The kids are not real familiar yet with each other.

We had a stellar defensive game, even though we had three errors. This was a tremendous confidence- booster for the team. We didn't strike out too many and we did it with our gloves. The bats were there and the pitching is coming around.

We had more timely hitting and were able to knock guys in. There was no pressure in this game, a lot of good camaraderie between the clubs.
