The Avon game was a tough loss for us. They definitely handed it to us. We lost 3-2, but they scored three goals in the first eight minutes.

I think she wanted that (challenge of attending Navy). She entertained a lot of offers from higher nationally ranked soccer programs but felt like the whole Navy experience is what she wanted.

She's a very quick player and she complements Lauren, our leading goal scorer, very well. Really, our whole team is set up that way, where we have lots of complements for each other and I think that's been a key to our success thus far.
