We've had our clunks and our bumps, but I've never been in a situation where someone had to be physically removed from the arena. It's a tough situation. Our primary concern is Ashley and if she's going to be OK.

From just being comfortable to have seen the large crowd. It's the same gymnastics; it's just in a different arena.

She has one more move and she was off the bars. It's one of those things that happens. It's just if and when. I'm sure it scared her. She'd never been flying like that before.

This is a big night for everybody. This is what they train for. When you lose your top athlete, it's heartbreaking. You want it so bad for the kids and for Ashley in her senior year. I wish she could have done everything she set out to do today.

At this point, our main concern is to make sure Ashley is all right. She was moving her hands and feet and she was coherent when she left. (The paramedics) took a precautionary measure to eliminate any potential injury to her neck and upper back.
