Carl can play anywhere because he is so versatile. John has done a good job of showing me that he wants to play second.

The kid's got a rocket for an arm. He's played in the outfield, but he wanted to try shortstop, and he has really picked up the technique pretty well. He comes from such a baseball-rich program that his overall fundamentals to play the game are pretty good.
