I think we were playing a little too relaxed ... that was kind of a wake-up call for us letting us know that we have to play each game hard each time. Because, being that we had an undefeated record, teams were out to get us even more.

It taught me to be more responsible and manage my time because basketball does take up a lot of time. And then to manage it, between that and school and keeping my priorities right.

That's when we had lost Sierra, and we knew we had to pick it up. That game right there, I really feel I stepped up.

I was actually shocked that they went down like that, week after week after week, and being that two of them were seniors, I was going to dedicate all I could do to try to help out.

My ninth and 10th-grade years the team didn't make it. And that was my first year going and I had fun up there.
