"Antonio Rodolfo Quinn Oaxaca", more commonly known as "Anthony Quinn", was a Mexican American actor, as well as a painter and writer. He starred in numerous critically acclaimed and commercially successful films, including La Strada, The Guns of Navarone (film)/The Guns of Navarone, Lawrence of Arabia (film)/Lawrence of Arabia, Zorba the Greek (film)/Zorba the Greek, La Bataille de San Sebastian/Guns for San Sebastian, Mohammad, Messenger of God/The Message and Lion of the Desert. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor twice: for Viva Zapata! in 1952 and Lust for Life (film)/Lust for Life in 1956.
