I also did some really crappy TV, like 'Beverly Hills 90210' and 'Jag,' 'The Sentinel' and 'Viper,' ... My very first job was on an NBC sitcom called 'Brotherly Love' starring Joey Lawrence and his brothers. I was terrified. I think I got the job because I'm short enough. I'm five feet five inches and he wears lifts in his shoes.

It wasn't as difficult in Egypt because the professors were more laid back. Over there, high GPAs don't really factor into getting a good job. It's more about who you know and your parents' connections, so there wasn't as much of an emphasis on grades.
