This is a way to expand our curriculum throughout the district. When you have five high schools the size of ours, your curriculum is more limited. With this, kids can take classes (being held) in another building.

We try very hard to accommodate schedules for our pregnant teens by providing them shortened schedules also allowing for early graduation also, if necessary. We're trying to do everything we can to still make sure the kids receive the education they want to receive and yet we're respectful of their situation.

I think that just like with many other things in our society, certain things are much more acceptable now than they were five, 10 years ago or longer. I know a lot of pregnant teens who have had no problems staying in the regular school environment, trying to maintain their regular schedule as long as they could.

We are properly placing kids so they can be challenged but not so challenged they shut down. Students should know going into this that it's serious business.

It's hard for a filter to block out every single site, because your programmers out there always have ways to get around filters. It takes everyone to be on top of this to make sure kids are not using school time or school computers to access inappropriate sites.
