I usually just tell the kid that I can hear his dad talking and to put him on the phone. But it's sad when the parents have taught their kids to lie at such a young age, especially when they claim they don't like telemarketers because the telemarketers are liars-it's parents like them that the bad telemarketers get it from!

I'm so nice to telemarketers when they call now. I usually tell them I'm not interested, but I'm a lot kinder about it than I used to be.
