"Andrew Phillip Chambers" is a retired lieutenant general (United States)/lieutenant general in the United States Army. An alumnus of the United States Naval Academy, he was the commanding general of United States Army Central from 1987 to 1989. He also was director of the Army Equal Opportunity Program, as well as commander of the VII Corps (United States)/VII Corps His brother, Lawrence Chambers was a rear admiral in the United States Navy. Him and his brother are the first black siblings to hold flag ranks in the United States Military.
