We are going to address the issue. If they really try to ban it, we are not going to take it lying down. It doesn't stop here. We are going to meet and make sure our voices are heard. We are not going to let our culture be oppressed.

I know some of us wanted to address the situation a little bit more. But it's just one of many issues in hip-hop right now. It all starts somewhere else before it gets to the sheriff [Bill Young]. In light of the recent events, we have to look at society as a whole; it has a lot to do with what happened. I believe the sheriff is just reacting to something that he really doesn't understand.

The most violent rap music is the most popular music. You can't remove it from the clubs. It (Anthony's proposal) is more of a political platform because nobody has really been talking about it until the events on February 1 so I think this too shall pass.
