Hopefully it will be a good mix of well-known songs and unknown songs.
Every song I write, even if it's fiction, I have to draw from something in my life to connect it with before it rings true, ... Early on in my career, I had points where I felt like I may have run out of ideas. Now I know that if I'm short of ideas, I need to take some time off and let the well fill up ... and live life because that's where the best songs come from.
Every song is different, ... If they come fast that's wonderful. But if they don't, that's OK, too. You just have to be patient and do whatever is required to write the song as good as possible and as true as possible.

At one time, I had an office on Music Row, but we moved to a small farm and I just like being here, ... I get up every day and go out in the trailer and spend a few hours writing.
