That gives us an inside threat. We try to make him a main option and force teams to try to take that away from us.

They're a good athletic team with strong, physical kids.

They don't have anyone who scores regularly with their back to the basket. They take the ball to the basket off the dribble and get to the free throw line.

As a team we've made up our minds that no matter what we'll get him the basketball. We give him chances to lose his man. When people double him, he can still beat that. He's one of a kind.

They have a very similar team to ours.

Nothing was going in the first half. Valley was aggressive and out-executed us the first half. The kids got back into it and worked the boards and created turnovers. As the tempo picked up, so did our defense.
