I just didn't want to mess it up when I got back in there.

(The game against Ottawa) was progress for us, but we need to be taking bigger steps forward than that, and I am pretty positive with our effort in that game we will do that. Our backs are against the wall. We have to start winning.

It's tough. We came into Montreal and we wanted to so well and we got off to the worst possible start in the first game there. We could not bounce back. Now we're at the point where if we don't get two points, we are going to slip out of the playoff race. We can't allow that to happen.

It's tough losing, especially now that the games are so important. The upcoming games are going to be really key.

We have to turn this around in our room before we can start looking at other people.

I thought we worked hard again. We couldn't get that third [goal].

Everybody saw when we were playing well, as we did the last three weeks of the season, we were a good team. We definitely had the team to play in the playoffs. It's an empty feeling that we won't be there.

Eddie's been huge for us all season. It's all about him. He was the biggest part of this win tonight.
