I said I wouldn't get nervous and then I found out two weeks ago that I still had 18 points left. Everyone told me to relax and not worry about it.

I just work hard and do what I need to do for the team. I work a lot on hitting 3-point shots and and passing off.

I'm really proud of the school for the past four years. This program used to be a joke until coach Joyce came in and turned it around. We put in four years of hard work and turned it around. The hard work really paid off.

Coach Joyce started to run practices and he knew what he was doing. He got us to be real intense. I think we still have to peak and I think we can make a big run in the playoffs. We are on the brink of doing that.

I hit one foul shot and they stopped the game. They gave me the game ball. Then they took the ball at the end of the game to paint it.

It was really surreal. I had some family members there. I felt like I got the monkey off my back and I don't have to worry about that pressure any more. All of the hard work paid off that I put in with my dad. My Uncle Gabe played here and my grandmother Mary Louise played basketball. I come from a basketball family.

They said I would probably hit it this year. I didn't want to know how many points I had because of the pressure.
