It was a different scale to a World Cup, I only learned that last time. But then again, they [the IOC] didn't exactly treat me very well.

My memory has been tarnished by what happened at Salt Lake City but that was four years ago.

I could be very bitter about it, but I don't think it would help me, ... People would get bored of listening to me harping on about it and I get bored with people talking about it.

It's obviously very possible that, deep down, it's shaken my confidence. I've definitely taken a big blow mentally.

I never got it together last season. Nothing clicked and my confidence went.

But it's one race. I've got 12 races this year. If it doesn't happen it's not going to be the end of the world for me. The gods have to be a little bit on your side. The race could be cancelled. I'm not setting all my hopes on this race.
