I could have played if I had to.

I just came up at the right time.

If you're hitting .300, it means you're seeing the ball and getting a good pitch to hit.

That means the game's gone extra innings and you need runs. I was just fortunate enough to have the opportunity.

Getting consistent at-bats... makes it much easier when you're out there.

My whole mind-set has been when I do go out and get an opportunity to play I'm just going to go out and do what I can to help this team win and play hard. Hopefully you impress those around you.

When so much is there for you, it does help take the stress out of our jobs.

I've never gotten that many at-bats in a season. I've always wondered what I could do over a full season.

It's a good opportunity to play. It's all I can ask for. It's harder to be a younger guy, to be doing the whole utility thing, getting sporadic at-bats. It was really tough to find a rhythm.
