I have all the confidence in the world of Jami. She can hit key shots at key moment. She's going to bring you back in the game if you're down, so I haven't lost any confidence in her or her shots.

We looked winded. They looked winded, too. The floor here is longer than we're used to, so I don't know if that was the reason ? that plus being on break.

That's the main thing we've been stressing in practice, our 'D'. We did an outstanding job tonight.

We seemed to be in a hurry in the first half, especially in trying to get the ball inside to Dominique Powell. In the second half, we was able to do a better job with the ball, reversing it and passing it better for more open looks and that loosened up their defense and forced them to work a little harder.

We were a little bit quicker. We forced them into a lot of turnovers.

One thing that worries me, going into Hickory, is that we had to play hard to win this game.

I was very pleased with our defensive play in the first half, holding them to only 10 points and then only allowing two points in the third quarter. ?. I can't ask any more of the girls than that.

I can't say enough about the way our defense played. We will have to have more of the same against Hickory plus rebound and execute well meaning our shot selection needs to be good and we need to make them.

It was closer than it should have been because we missed a lot of easy shots under the basket, especially in the second half.
