Right now it's an issue of whether we can handle a race against an incumbent war chest, but with the possibility there will be an open seat in the November 2006 election because Cannon might lose in a primary, there is unusual interest among potential candidates.

Congressman Cannon should return the money he's taken from any questionable sources. Cannon's continued refusal to return this dirty money raises serious questions about Cannon's own conduct and the direction of his moral compass.

I am concerned that it appears that the governor may be stalling popular legislation until the session before his re-election. The benefits to the people of Utah are clear. It is not responsible governing to wait.
