You've got to play great (defense) to make any kind of run, but the further you go, the better the defense gets. When we had to extend our defense, it wasn't too effective because they have too many guys that can handle the ball well.

We like to think of ourselves as a pretty good defensive team. But there was a premium put on a every possession in a game like this and we had too many ineffective possessions when each one means so much.

It was a great ballgame from an excitement standpoint.

We had a hard time springing (McCurdy), and give New Albany credit for that. With the way they play defense, we knew that was a possibility, but we felt we would get production from other places.

We showed some great heart to come back and win this game.

During that third-quarter stretch, they got just enough of a cushion to spread us out. We had to chase them, and that wasn't a good situation for us.

Our big boys, Jacob Mills and Sean Campbell, have been stepping up big in the tournament. Jason Ferrell and Cole Bradham also have stepped up and our entire team has picked it up defensively.

We had some tough stretches in the middle of our season, but I'm proud of our improvement. We won some exciting games at the end of the regular season to build momentum for the tournament.

Every possession was so critical. They did a nice job of handling the ball and we didn't play with enough patience. Obviously, 13 turnovers is too many for a game of that tempo.
