She's one of the more underrated players in our league. Whether it's setting picks or passing the ball, she does things you look for as a coach.

We'll have growing pains. Some days we'll be up, some down. But as a coach and a teacher, I can't be happier with the way the kids are going at it in practice. There are no heads down here.

Erin is our only senior and has been the best captain I've ever had as a coach as she is always in the young girls' ears when they make mistakes and she is a calming influence for them when I'm not being as quiet.

Everyone saw what we did last year, but they have to realize that was the result of four years of hard work. The girls know if they want to get there, they'll have to earn it.

We are still in the hunt for a spot in the FCIAC tournament at 6-6 this year and that's a goal for us.
