We need to expand the use of surveillance.

We have undertaken an extensive clean up of the poultry farms now that the birds are gone. We hope to complete this exercise over the next three days.

Up to 10km away, all the birds have been killed.

A team from the FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) has visited the site and examined the skeletons for over two hours. The initial inquiry has revealed that the skeletons do belong to men and have indeed been here since a very long time. We need to take them to the laboratory for any further details but as the villagers were not keen to have them removed, we have left it at that for now.

I could have saved the stroke by playing it safe. I must admit I was greedy and hence went for the green.

It's baffling, unbelievable, why and how and what for?

It's very, very difficult to deal with all the birds in one go. All the people may not come forward. That's why we're making multiple efforts in some villages.

Sufficient ground work has been carried out (on security aspect) and we are taking help from the local police too.
