National Wear Red Day is actually part of Go Red For Women month. It's a promotion for heart education and wellness for women. We have touched on a lot of that throughout February.

We wanted to do something that will capture their attention with humor. With the comedy presentation and fashion show, we hope to make things more life-applicable.

He's said we can call him any time day or night. He's qualified to know what they need. We're not.

We do get quite a few homeless in the ER. They are mostly healthy people, but they are cold. They are looking for warmth and something to eat.

The guest speakers have been very warmly welcomed and appreciated. The hall was completely packed for our self-defense presentation, and we plan on making adjustments to next year's fashion show to allow for a greater variety of outfits.

We had a spectacular turnout this year, far better than we could ever have imagined. We've had a very steady attendance all day long.
