We've got the people we need to win the conference again. Each player knows his role. We've got confidence in each other and we pick each other up. That's something we haven't always had in the past.

I went for the first time last year and loved it so much that I had to go again. It's a great experience just being inside the gates. Then you get the golf course and the players. It is truly a unique event.

I just came and did it.

Rounds of golf drive everything in this business. We've had some 17 Mile Drive traffic that has helped with the numbers, but what was forecasted for March we did not come close to doing.

If we stay tighter and stay strong, it could actually help us.

We haven't had a game where we've put all three phases (hitting, pitching and defense) together. This weekend was upsetting and humbling. We went in there 20-4 and we found out we have to be able to put it all together. We're working to get all three clicking.

I found one Web site that said March was the coldest month on record in 58 years. The average daily temperature was 56 degrees, and we had only one day in March that topped 62 degrees. Who wants to play in that?
