We should have started our project sooner.

He didn't have a bad game. He understands the game very well and is very competitive. That's what makes him good. And he can hit free throws. It didn't take him long at all (to adjust). We put him in the first game of the season and he was competing with everybody, and was as good as all the seniors.

We got a little ahead of ourselves. But we've played in some tough games and we stepped it up (at the end of the game).

We knew we had a tough road ahead of us, but we've been through a lot together through the years. Winning four NIC titles was great because it hasn't been done very often. However, winning the sectional is just as satisfying since it's something we haven't done for awhile.

We wanted this one so bad since they already beat us at our place. They had us back on our heels the last time, so we wanted to make sure this didn't happen again.

I had an off day, but that's part of the game. It's just disappointing that we couldn't play close to our best game.

We should have been better prepared.

Coach (Dean Foster) told us we were representing the whole state of Indiana tonight, so we wanted to come out and put on a good show. We felt like we didn't play very well last night (Friday against St. Joseph's), so we felt we had something to prove out here tonight.

We had already taken the lifesaving merit badge, so we knew what to do. At first, I thought it was a little girl, but when we got to him we could see it was, like, a 250-pound man.
