The advances on MRI and CT scans changes things now, ... Guys had these problems 10 years ago and thought it was groin problem. Now they have the MRI and find out that they had a torn labrum the entire time.

I don't know what happened. I was just going for a hit and he stopped. I didn't even think I got a piece of him.

It?s better to get it done now rather than have take two, three games off at a time, stay injured and then find they have to pull the plug on me in January and I?d miss the playoffs.

Obviously, I feel bad. I'm not out there trying to hurt any kid. Hopefully he's alright.

We gave him a pretty easy night. When I look down and he's stretching halfway through the game because he's only seen 11 shots, you know, we made it pretty easy on him. You could have put basically anybody in net and we never really had anything until the third period.

It definitely affected me the next year, ... But those are things you do when you go a long way. There's repercussions to doing that stuff.

I think it?s pretty important for the guys to be going to West Point, but for me, it?s more important not to be missing games and get this taken care of now.
