Leslie has a great work ethic.
I think she has the potential to have a chance to be a state champion. No doubt about that.
She's just a hard worker and a natural talent. She just needs to keep her work ethic up. We'll give her the workouts, and she'll hit the times like I know she will.
She's going to have to start working harder if she wants to get to her potential. It's hard to work that hard. She has to push herself in practice. We put her through grueling workouts today. They were hard on her ... but she hit all her times.
She's understanding the value of that. She worked ridiculously hard.
Dave is very athletic and has lots of potential. He should really help the program.
The older girls set a pretty high example and Amanda stays right with them.
We had a talk today -- all the coaches did with all the girls -- they started off not where they needed to be earlier today. So we stopped the practice, sat them down and had a serious talk. Then they finished pretty hard.
The thing that helps her is that she's surrounded by 10 girls that work really hard and just feed off each other in practice and push each other harder and harder. There's so much talent that they know that, if they don't do their best, they'll be passed by the next person and they all know that.
