We used up so much energy to dig ourselves out of that huge hole. We held back a little early and you can't do that and win at the state tournament.

It's great to be part of a record-driving year. It's going to mean a lot.

My uncle had been a basketball player in his day. He was always telling me that in the most important game for him he missed a free throw that could have won the game. He told me he felt bad about it. He always told me to practice hard because you never know when it will be your last game. You never know when the game can be taken from you. When we lost to IMS, I felt like I let him down.

When you know it's going to be the last game of your career, that's all the motivation you need. You want to make a final stand ? leave it all out there on the court.
