We gave away too many balls today because we were under pressure.

Defensively, we return a lot of players, but as far as I'm concerned how we defend as a team is what is going to make or break us. We have a lot of players with individual creativity. The transition from offense to defense is what we're trying to highlight as a priority.

Our goal is to use the regular season as a springboard and have our best product at the end. I'm pleased with our team chemistry. That's something we haven't always had.

Peoria Christian was a good opponent for us. I was pleased with the way we responded after (Peoria Christian) pulled to within 2-1. Our defensive unit has really come together and we are now able to get a lot of people scoring for us.

I was hoping we would do a little better job of maintaining the ball. It was a little more discouraging in the sense that I thought we would be able to do some things instead of defending.

We had 20 scoring opportunities today but just didn't capitalize. We are playing well and the girls remain positive despite our struggles. We're pointing our efforts toward the post-season.

Our emphasis was on defending. Our goal was to defend first, then look for opportunities. - We wanted to keep it close and see if we could steal a chance or two.
