The guy he played was very consistent. Miguel either hit a winner or made a mistake -- and he made more mistakes than winners. Miguel was forcing the issue, he just had too many mistakes.

More Tom Lonergan on Wikipedia. It was a good effort. I was really happy with how he came back after being down 4-1 in the second set, coming back to force a tie-breaker. He definitely played well enough to win it.
He has our best record in league this year and he's playing within himself. He's not trying to over-hit and he's being consistent. At this level, consistency wins matches. He's just playing better tennis.
It shouldn't have had to come down to a (scoring) run. We're not a team, and that's why we can't score points. They don't work as a team. Until they decide they want to play as a unit...

We competed well in singles, but our bottom three doubles teams are all new players. We're losing on inexperience.
We have to learn how to win -- the kids have the ability to win, but they have to get competitive and then win. Right now, we're not even competitive.
They were up 5-4 and 40-30, but they didn't get it. I probably will switch them up, too. They've had a couple chances, but couldn't quite do it.
