The kids executed. There was a kid chasing Jordan around, and I think everyone in the gym knew who was probably going to get it and shoot. He did a nice job of catching it and converting it.

He was a handful for us. We threw three or four different guys at him, and none of them did a great job. He did a great job of getting to the basket on us. He can be very active and very difficult to defend.

I don?t know if we could have hired a higher quality person or a more qualified coach. This is going to be a smooth transition.

We talked all season about working hard and sticking to the system, and it?s starting to pay off.

We had some good kids. The seventh- and eighth-grade teams are very good too. The team will have talent for years to come.

The program was in disarray when I took over. That?s the one thing I?m most proud of; I feel like I put a positive stamp on this program. I?m not turning it over to someone else in disarray. It is in very good shape, and it?s only going to get better.
