This is very upsetting to us to have data on that many employees on a computer that was stolen. We certainly don't want to see this happen again.

In hindsight, we should have handled it differently. We would handle it differently today.

There is a greater awareness of what the regulations are.

There's been no indication that our customers will retaliate against U.S. companies.

We do have strong company policy against retaliation in a situation like this. ... When the charges were brought, we looked into it and we don't believe there is any basis for the employees' charge of retaliations.

The important thing for the government and for us is that the process at Boeing has been improved to make sure we don't violate any export regulations going forward.

Unfortunately this was an older file that this person hadn't opened in quite a while. The person who uses this computer had missed it.

We have taken a number of steps to put a more robust export compliance system in place. And what we're committing to do in this agreement is to continue working with them to make sure we are in compliance.
