We got caught up in the excitement of winning and forgot how to play. Mobile Christian is the kind of team you can't afford to do that against.

I thought we could hold it together long enough to make it through the day, but down the stretch our youth showed.

It's not likely that you can beat many people playing that way.

I think after about the midway point of the season, we had to come to an understanding that hard work got us to this point. We had to reassess our intent and once we understood fundamentals were the reason for our success, it became a little bit easier to maintain our intensity.

I felt like we had a legitimate chance to win the whole thing. It turns out in the end, we defeated ourselves and that's always more difficult to take.

We played aggressively and refused to let them establish any kind of an offensive pattern by pressing.

I hate that it ended like that because I felt we were a championship caliber team. But you have to play big in big games, and we didn't do that.
