The defense has progressed each week, which is all you can ask. I've been pleased with our defensive effort so far, ... But each week presents a new set of challenges and you have to prove yourself all over.

We have to make sure our intensity level stays up and we can't take anything for granted.

Our first goal is to win the section title this year, but we know that's going to be tough because the section has definitely gotten stronger.

I was able to scout them and we understood what they were doing.

You take away the penalties and dropped balls and we've been pretty efficient on offense, ... We have to clean that up.

I think Vinnie and Dan Willis [a junior forward] both have the potential to be a big-time scorer.

Fortunately, we don't have to deal with that. We didn't even address it with our kids this week because to us, it's a non-factor. We've just been working to prepare for a team that we know will be ready to play us.

To the average fan in the stands, you see 49-0 and think we did everything right.

Communication needs to improve on the field. I would also like to see improvement on our possession. We are okay, but we can get better.
