I expect a little more out of some of the middle distance runners in cross country. Particularly at this distance because it is a lot shorter.

I assume some of the other girls on the team will move closer to them. Or they will hopefully pull some of the others along.

They do have a portion of the course that runs along a bluff that overlooks the Pacific. It's very beautiful, but I promise no one will take the time to take it all in, not in the middle of a 5K or 4K. Or at least I hope not.
