"Terence Frederick "Terry" Venables", often referred to as ""El Tel"", is an English former association football/football player and manager. During the 1960s and 70s, he played for various clubs including Chelsea F.C./Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur F.C./Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers F.C./Queens Park Rangers, and gained two cap (sport)/caps for England national football team/England.

He was the national team manager of England from 1994 to 1996 (leading the team to the semi-finals of the UEFA Euro 1996/1996 European Championships), and of Australia national association football team/Australia from 1997 to 1998. He has also managed several club sides including Crystal Palace F.C./Crystal Palace, Queens Park Rangers, Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United A.F.C./Leeds United in England, and FC Barcelona/Barcelona in Spain.
