Our first home match is going to be difficult, and we know that better than anybody.

My job is to get it on the end. . . . I'm not going to score if my teammates don't get it to me. . . . Jay Heaps played great. (Pat) Noonan played great. It was a solid effort all around.

We know teams can do the same thing to us that we did last year.

That game was just out of control from the opening whistle. But whatever... I'm going to get myself in trouble.

Obviously tonight I wasn't as sharp and let the team down a little bit. Pat Noonan played me two very good balls and unfortunately I just finished one of them.

At the end of the day, all that matters is how you end the season, not how you start.

I made up for some mistakes tonight. I should have scored about three minutes earlier. I was trying to get on the end of something, and obviously [Pat] Noonan played a good ball.

This was maybe our best game of the year.

He jokes around -- when he looks up, he sees The Big Head. When he sees The Big Head, he reads where I'm going.
