Our kids really played well. The atmosphere was great. I hoped the fans would show up and give us a Super Regional-type atmosphere. And I really thought that's what that was.

Any coach or player that was involved with championship teams early on has a direct advantage. Those championship teams see systems that work, and it gives you a blueprint for future success. That's what Tim has done.

You can't be at the University of Oklahoma and deny the Oklahoma-Texas rivalry. It's there, it's prevalent in every sport. It means a lot to our players, our fans, our university and our state. And it's something that we really embrace.

I was proud of our three-game effort this weekend. Today was a complete team win with contributions from our bench. I also thought P.J. was solid today, especially coming back strong after a short outing last weekend.

You've got to be able to compete with those people and beat those people if you're going to get that grand prize in Omaha. If that truly is our goal, then we shouldn't shy away from anybody at any time.
