At the GC today, we presented them with our list of demands. They examined the list, and subsequent discussions on the demands led to the decisions taken by the GC.

A meeting of the Academic Council (AC) has been scheduled for Monday, while a meeting of the Governing Council (GC) has been scheduled for September 14. We decided to open up the Academic Department for two days - today and tomorrow - to facilitate the meeting of the AC.

The GC has decided that a technical committee will be constituted under the aegis of the director. Students will also pitch in with their recommendations for the maintenance of existing equipment and upgrading the institute's infrastructure facilities.
