This is their oasis where they can go to have a beer and a cigarette. Now we're going to take that away from them after they fought for the freedom of this country.

From a business community standpoint, we're much more open to an incentive-based system than a draconian ordinance that would hurt businesses.

We think it's a very good way for the state to raise money for the school construction program. It's being done in at least 12 states now. There's not been any issues with it and it's a logical course for the state to pursue.

The places that are really and truly hurt are your bars and taverns. Bowling establishments are hurt dramatically.
