It was the eye of the Tiger. She came to the sideline and said, 'I don't want to lose. Put it in my hands.' For a sophomore to say that, that's huge.

We've been struggling all year, but this win was really amazing.

We came out and played with a lot of energy. We had a pretty good game plan, but we just let it get away from us. We had too many turnovers early and dug ourselves a hole. We do not have enough scorers to be able to dig ourselves out of a hole.

We are right back where we were last year. I think it's great for the city and our area. But this will be tougher this year.

I wasn't sure before we got here, but I understand now how hard it is to get here and to win it. It's been a long season, but everybody pulled together. The girls got better and better and didn't quit.

She is a playmaker. At halftime, she told her teammates to follow her and she would lead us back. We have demanded a lot of her as far as being a leader, and she has taken this team on her back.
