Their running back is amazing, he's one of the better running backs we've seen this season. It wasn't an easy task at all to pitch a shutout to end a hard season. I'm just glad we did it.

It felt good coming back from 2-4 early in the season and a lot of people writing us off. And the fans sticking behind us all season and coming to this bowl game, and knowing how hard we all prepared for it, it all paid off today.

We wanted to shut them out. That was the goal we had the entire time we were practicing for the bowl.

All we needed was seven points.

I saw him step up (in the pocket), and I went after him with my speed. I know I can run with the best.

I haven't talked to him much about it but if we lose him someone has to step up. Whatever we have, we'll make do.
