The music is beautiful, and Linda has done a wonderful job getting the students to bring out the emotion in the music. She has past experience with the show; she did it here almost a decade ago.

As the drama director, I personally appreciate the depth of the story and its characters, which are more complex than most musicals. It is very different from last year's production for all of these reasons.
