I just feel like we are playing as a team, especially on defense. That's made a huge difference.

You're always going to have that, and it's not a bad thing. It pushes you to do your best. Obviously, there is a lot of pressure there, but I've never looked at it as an insult or anything.

When you think your season is over, you tend to become brutally honest. And that actually might have been the best thing for us.

She's a really outstanding player coming off the bench that really adds a spark, along with some of our other bench players. She comes in and makes a difference both defensively and offensively and has become a huge attribute to what we try to do.

I feel like we're playing well at this point, and that's a great thing coming in.

I came in and inherited a great team, and that got me off on a great start because we were so competitive and so successful, and I just tried to build on that foundation that was there. It was such a great tradition, and I just wanted to carry that on.

It's just special. The adversity these girls have faced and the way they've gone through it with such character is just so exciting.

They seem to have it all together. Our girls continue to play extremely well, with enthusiasm.

They've played great competition, and their record speaks for itself. But we don't rely a ton on rankings. Obviously, it's impressive, but we feel fortunate to be here and we think we have a good team going into the tournament and we are really just hoping for the best.
