It gives me motivation because I know where I need to be. I'm hungry.
It was a little bit different because I'm not used to running the race. Each race is different in terms of strategy. The night before, my coach and I went down a race strategy and we talked about it before I ran. I kept that in my mind while I was running and I pretty much just stuck to it to get to my goal time.
I was happy to get it out of the way, a lot of times it can be stressful to have that. Now I can concentrate on other things like improving my race.
