The Agency of Natural Resources has real concerns about it, the League of Cities and Towns has real concerns about it.

If the governor is trying to portray this, if you are for scholarships, you are against scholarships, you believe in Vermont and don't believe in Vermont, you believe in the future, you don't believe in the future. I believe those are just sound bites and I don't think that is really serious.

Absolutely, positively, from my point of view, it is DOA.

I believe we should debate things on the merits of policy and when people want to play politics that is fine.

It is not very often that a group is told that the doors of Appropriations are open for us to ask them about their needs. But, for this group, for the Guard and its families, it is. We will find the money to take care of them if other parts of the government won't.
